WHAT IS HISTORY AND WHY DO WE STUDY IT

History is information from the past that we learned as the years passed. Part of the history may be our ancestors, their biography or past events, important people and useful ideas. I don't think that history is only the 100 years passed events. It is also the moment passed.
We learn about history because we need to know our past, we learn more about our planet, the environment and the climate. Learning history may help us  to learn about ourselves and others. We see patterns or trends so we can learn from our mistakes, as WILLIAM L. BURTON said: "If you don't like the past change it".
